To Print Your Citation in MLA Format

  1. Select the print icon displayed above your article:

Select "Print" option to obtain citation in MLA format.

  1. Once the Print page opens, select "MLA (Modern Language Association)," then "Print."

In Citation Format section, select "MLA," then click "Print."

  1. Most of the MLA citation will be provided at the top of the reformatted article.  Copy and paste the citation into your Works Cited page.
Keep in mind, revisions are still needed in order for your teacher to accept this citation.  For example:

Replace highlighted sections with:  Kolwyck Lib., Chattanooga, TN. (date you accessed the article) <http://web.ebscohost.com/>.

Again, check with your teacher, but the final citation will typically be formatted as seen below:

EBSCO. Kolwyck Lib., Chattanooga, TN. 8 February 2008. <http://web.ebscohost.com/>.

  1. Use the browser's print function to print the article (Click "File," then "Print" or just use Control-P keys).
