What You Need to Know
 |
- First go to "Your Account"
to check your library record. Login with your eight-digit campus user
identification number (CID - A#).
- After logging into "Your Account" you can then click the "Multisearch" button to get the current
password for the library's databases.
- You can "Place Holds" on books that are unavailable (Checked-Out, No item data available). Check the "Status" of the book before placing holds.

- Go to the "All Databases" page to find individual database descriptions.
- This page can help to get the current username and password for databases.

- "Research Guides" list web sites, databases, periodical
titles, and reference books on different subjects such as nursing, controversial issues, and literature .
- "Assignment Guides" are created by library instructors for your specific assignment. These guides will help you
with your research.

- You can ask questions, make suggestions, and get books unavailable at the CSTCC library here. Interlibrary Loans are a service that
finds the book that you need from other colleges and universities and delivers it to the CSTCC library for you to use.

- Classes held in the library's classroom are library instruction classes, not regular CSTCC classes.
- Laptops are intended for classes listed in the CSTCC course schedule as "Laptop". Individual students can only check-out laptops after laptop
classes. Please check the Policies for Laptop Usage for more information.
