The Search Results will give you several types of materials to choose from:

You will likely find most of what you need under the "Literature Criticism" tab.

Literature Resource Center is a great place to begin your research to find information about your chosen topic!

As you search the database, notice the options at the left that will help narrow your search:

The JSTOR archive contains the full text of 322 scholarly journals, beginning with the very first issue of each title.

Searching JSTOR is a little different than some of the other databases.  To get the best results, use the Advanced Search and be sure to uncheck the box for "Search for links to articles outside of JSTOR" AND check the box for "Article."  You can use the searches shown at the left (you can click on both of them) to find good journal articles about Oedipus Rex and A Doll's House.

Websites...

CAUTION!  Always be EXTREMELY careful when searching the Internet for sources.

Remember that ANYONE can publish a web page . . . so always ask yourself if the person who published the web page you may be looking at actually KNOWS more about the topic than you do!

Some excellent websites for online research can be found on the library's Literary Research Guide.
