Access from Home

Databases Password: (For currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff only)

If you have been given the password by your teacher or by a librarian, click on the name of the database. Type in this semester's library username and password.

The password changes each semester on the first day of classes.

To see this semester's username & password, click on Your Account :

Enter your "A number" on your student photo ID

Tab to the next box and type in your last name. Click on the Login button.

Look near the top of the page and click the button. Look for the Current database login in the middle of the page.

If you are an online student, contact your instructor for the password.
If you need more assistance, call the reference desk, 423-697-4436.

If the password is not working:

Are you using lowercase letters when entering the username and password?
Can you connect to the Internet?
Are you able to access other web pages such as http://cnn.com/?
Does it take a long time for pages to load (appear on your screen)?
Call the reference desk (423-697-4436) or e-mail, reference@chattanoogastate.edu if you cannot get to the library's web page and need other ways to get to resources.

Library Catalog:

Holds can be placed on books with a status of "Checked-Out" or "No item data available".
- Books with a status of "Available" can not be placed on hold.
To place a Hold, click on the "Place Hold" button use "A number on your student ID" or on the back of your library card and your last name.

ILL Requests:

Interlibrary Loan requests can be done through the form on the library's web site.
All items from other libraries must be picked up and returned through the check-out desk at the Amnicola campus.
