Access to Library Services for Students at All Locations
October 4, 1999
I. Students attending classes at campuses and sites.
The library provides access to library services for students attending
classes at Chattanooga State campuses and sites in the following ways:

All students may use the Amnicola Campus Library and the
East Campus Library.
-
Students residing in Hamilton County should use the Amnicola
Campus Library and the East Campus Library.
-
Students residing in Bledsoe County, Grundy County, Marion
County, Rhea County, and Sequatchie County may go to the nearest cooperative
library to request materials. The librarian will fax requests to the Amnicola
Campus Library for materials, which will be mailed first class to that
library for the students to pick up. Those cooperative libraries are listed
below:

Dayton Public Library

Jasper Public Library
-
Pikeville Public Library
-
Sequatchie County Public Library
II. Students enrolled in Dual Enrollment
classes.
The library provides access to library services for Dual Enrollment
students in the following ways:

All students may access electronic databases, research guides,
the library’s catalog, and other useful information at the library’s Internet
web page:
http://library.chattanoogastate.edu

Dual enrollment students in Hamilton County Schools will
come to the Amnicola Campus Library for materials. The Hamilton County
school librarians will not need to fax requests for materials.

Dual enrollment students in Bledsoe, Grundy, Marion, Sequatchie,
and Rhea county schools may ask their school librarians to fax requests
to the Amnicola Campus Library for materials. Senior Library Assistant
(Circulation) will mail materials first class to those libraries for the
students to pick up. Those students may also come to the Amnicola Campus
Library or East Campus Library.

All students may go to the nearest cooperative library to
request materials. The librarian will fax requests to the Amnicola Campus
Library for materials, which will be mailed first class to that library
for the students to pick up. Those cooperative libraries are listed below:

III. Students enrolled in Distance
Education courses.
The library provides access to library services for students taking
video courses, online courses, or other courses through Distance Education
in the following ways:

All students may access electronic databases, research guides,
the library’s catalog, and other useful information at the library’s Internet
web page:

All students may use the Amnicola Campus Library and the
East Campus Library.

Students residing in Hamilton County should use the Amnicola
Campus Library and the East Campus Library.

Students residing in Bledsoe County, Grundy County, Marion

or in other states should contact the Dean of Library Services who will
make arrangements with a library in or near the student’s county for the
provision of library services to that student. The procedures will be similar
