Assignment: 

Each student will write a 3-4 page research paper on a topic of their choice.   Three to five sources are required, which might include academic journals, books, essays, and/or articles published no earlier than 2000.  No simple web pages, blogs, or advertisements may be used.

For full-text articles on a broad range of topics from magazines, newspapers, reference books, some multimedia, etc., select from :

MasterFile Premier--defaults to Keyword searching for very specific information needs
        (ex. "wilderness survival" or police and dogs)

Lexis Nexis Academic--information from worldwide news sources
        (ex. wilderness and "survival skills" or "k-9 units" and law enforcement  )
