Assignment: 

Each student will write a 1200-1500 word research paper on a topic inspired by Rachel Carson's essay "The Obligation to Endure" that is included in the course text.  This essay should be one of the cited sources, with an additional 3-5 sources at least two of which from the library databases.

General OneFile--covers broad range of topics, but separates academic journals from magazines--defaults to Subject searching

MasterFile Premier--defaults to Keyword searching for very specific information needs
