Chattanooga State History 1968

Highlight: $1 million granted for new addition at Chattanooga State Technical Institute.  Planning for coordination of new Chattanooga area vocational school and Chattanooga State Technical Institute was authorized by State Board of Education.

State board of education authorizes planning program to coordinate operations of Chattanooga State Technical Institute and the new Chattanooga area vocational school.  The new Chattanooga area vocational school is next door to Chattanooga State (article in July 19, 1969 makes clear).
